I’m the Head of Policy and Research Insight at an international charity that supports media in developing countries. In this role, I am the principal person responsible for overseeing the production of a rigorous and compelling portfolio of policy and evidence outputs and play a key role in managing the organisation’s external engagement with the international development community. A seasoned writer and editor, I worked for a decade in radio, print and Online journalism. My reporting and commentary have been featured on outlets including The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian and The BBC World Service. I have a Ph.D. in political science from Stanford University and have held faculty positions at MIT and The University of Chicago, where I taught and conducted research in international development. I blog about adulthood at RealDelia and have training in coaching, mentoring and creative facilitation. I am passionate about the arts, education, and social mobility.
